Our work with artists and professional companies

We have the pleasure of continuing to work with Subhash Viman Gorania, a dancer, choreographer and animator based in the Leicester. As Artistic Director of Morph Productions, the current work brings dance, digital animation and storytelling into a blended art form, aiming to transform lives. As a Curve Resident Creative, Subhash is choreographing a new work with Curve Youth Dance and will be creating new digital work with Hetain Patel. The recent production, Classic Encounters is available to tour from the Autumn 2021 – 22.  Subhash will be performing Romeo in Rosie Kay Dance Company production of Romeo and Juliet https://rosiekay.co.uk/project/rj/ . Moving Souls Dance will be working with Footsteps and Climate Action Network West Midlands (CANWM) on a number of participatory projects raising awareness with young people about the COP 26 summit in Glasgow in November. MSD are also working with ACE dance Company and the North Birmingham Alliance on Embracing Cultures for the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham 2022. This ambitious project will construct large scale Carnival costumes, a dance procession with local dancers and a specially commissioned anthem which will be performed in the Alexander stadium as part of the  cultural festivities during the Games in August 2022.

Moving Souls Dance have supported these artists and companies to perform and produce their professional performance and participatory projects with successful Arts Council and Birmingham City Council funding.
