Route 34 Legacy Summer 2023

Moving Souls Dance are supporting two emerging Producers to co-create Carnival dance events over the summer with partners ACE dance and music, Black Voices and Newhampton Arts Centre, Wolverhampton.  This project has been awarded funding from Arts Council England to invest in developing producers with bespoke training in outdoor arts management, work placements in a variety of outdoor arts Carnival events and co -creating an event as part of the Same Different Festival with neurodiverse young people in Wolverhampton. Research into event management, audience development and participatory engagement will include participants aged 5 years to 75 in singing, dancing, carnival costume making and dancing. Two producers, Shireenah Ingram and Veniece Patel will be updating this website and social media platforms with their feedback on the events and what they have been learning over the summer.
